When it comes to achieving great success in life, there is no way you can do it without education. Knowledge is just a form of potential power, it doesn’t mean that you should ignore knowledge or stop educating yourself.

In fact, most successful people are great readers. Yes, the saying, “Leaders are readers” is just right. For example, Bill Gates reads about 50 books per year. Mark Cuban reads more than 3 hours every day. Elon Musk is a reader and when he was asked how he learned to build rockets, he said: “I read books.” Mark Zuckerberg resolved to read a book every 2 weeks throughout 2015. Oprah Winfrey selects one of her favorite books every month for her Book Club members to read and discuss.

It does not matter how old you are as it is never late to get new knowledge. No matter you are a student or a businessman , self-education is a habit that you must adopt for many reasons.

First, self-education and self-improvement should not stop in your life. You have to understand that your willingness to learn and to use what you have learned is what created your success.

Self-improvement will turn you into a new individual. When you explore something new daily, you broaden your view and go out of the common way of thinking.

Second, think about what will happen if you constantly feed yourself with inspirational books. You will be inspired! Eventually, you will buy into the idea that if others can do it, so can you. It changes your beliefs that you are able to live a great life too.

Third, you will see that you are not the only one that has gone through all the challenges and difficulties. You are not alone because there are others who have gone through something worse and they don’t give up and succeed in the end.
